Seoul - Gyeongju – Busan

Join Exotic Holidays to explore South Korea’s highlights. Now among the wealthiest and most important countries in Asia and the world, South Korea is home to one of the oldest ongoing civilizations in existence, dating back more than 4,300 years.
On this tour, you will begin in South Korea’s dynamic and exciting capital city Seoul. Seoul is a perfect fusion of past and present with temples, street markets and high-tech cutting-edge design. You will then jump onto the Korean Train Express to Gyeongju. Gyeongju is known as ‘the museum without walls’. It has more tombs, temples, and palace ruins than any other place in South Korea. After Gyeongju, you will make your way to Busan, South Korea’s second largest city. Known for its busy seaport, fish market and beaches, Busan is a great city to explore in your own free time. Make the most of its seafood dishes, street food vendors and city walking tracks. 

Deal Includes

Day 1: Arrive in Seoul
Arrival in Seoul. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Hotel.

Day 2: Seoul (B/L/D)
Today you will be taken for full day tour of Seoul. Seoul – officially the ‘Seoul Special City’ is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea. On this tour, you will watch Royal Palace Guard changing ceremony, visit Gyeongbok Palace, National Folk Museum, BukchonHanok Village, Insadong Antique Alley and Namdaemum Market. The tour continues with some free time for shopping at Myeongdong, one of Seoul’s main shopping and tourism districts. Later, enjoy a non-verbal performance ‘Nanta’.

Day 3: Seoul-Gyeongju (B/L/D)
Today, you will be transferred to Seoul Station for your Korean Train Express to Gyeongju. Home to the capital of the Silla Dynasty, Gyeongju has so many things to see that the whole city is often referred to as a museum without walls. On your arrival you will be met and proceed for the tour. During the tour visit Gyeongju Nat’l Mumeum, Tumuli Park (Daereungwon) and the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia, the Cheomseongdae. Cheomseongdae means star-gazing tower in Korea.

Day 4: Gyeongju-Busan (B/L/D)
This morning, enjoy tour of Bulguksa Temple. Bulguksa has become famous as one of the few surviving examples of Silla architecture. Also visit, Seakguram Grotto. The Seokguram Grotto is a hermitage and part of the Bulguksa temple complex.

Later, you will be transferred to Busan. Enjoy half day tour of Busan, visiting Haeundae Beach, Dongbaek Island, Nurimaru APEC House and Busan Tower.

Day 5: Busan (B)
This morning is free for you to explore the beaches and temples of Busan on your own. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Gimhae Airport in time to connect your onward flight.
